A whole year gone seeming a day ago. The focus has been on Self-awareness, development, being at peace with one’s self and the world. Mary Elebijo’s Blog has consistently revealed Life as what we make of it, establishing its sole focus on Life Itself encompassing all aspects, depicting such as an attribute of Life itself. During the course of the year, the blog’s logo was changed giving a better representation of what the blog signifies.

The Logo Colour–French Lilac “is a spiritual colour, a blend of blue, red and white. It is softened by experience and enhanced by knowledge. Lilac is a symbol of Peace and Tranquility. Lilac is a shade of purple which suggests refinement along with grace, elegance and something extremely and uniquely special”. (gatekeepershaven.proboards.com). Aside from the significance of the colour–Lilac, it happens to be one of Mary Elebijo’s favourite colours. She surely does have a great taste in ‘all’, I must add😉. The black Colour used as an outline and an undefined shape in the love symbol denotes the positive attributes of Black revealing Power, Mystery, Elegance– which cannot be overemphasised, Protection, Comfort, Strength, Authority, Prestige and Formality– describing Life itself in all aspects of an individual.

Love in a great way depicts Joy, Happiness, Peace. Love, thus, leads to a beautiful way of interacting and living with other fellow individuals. Love propels creating a positive course for humanity. Love is a symbol of togetherness, sacrifice, friendship. Love is the one step to appreciating oneself and the world. I also need to mention, the Love symbol also denotes Mary Elebijo’s middle name; Ifeoluwa– God’s Will and Love. It doesn’t end with love, there’s a tree denoting a flourishing life and fruitfulness of seeds by means of caring and nurturing the tree plant to yield forth good fruits which is synonymous to the financial aspect of an individual’s life–Financial Management.

Mary Elebijo’s Blog would also include write-ups on Financial Management educating Individuals on how to care for their funds (financial capacity) by means of budgeting and investing thus, yielding greater seeds, a symbol of fruitfulness and Productivity. Fruitfulness is not streamlined entirely to Financial Management. It also implies the output of an individual to the world which yields forth good fruits….

The Activity for the anniversary day was an exciting one. Mary Elebijo’s Blog was celebrated at an Orphanage home in Ede, Osun State.The visit was empowering as it educated the children on the need to embrace their passions, growing to become their desires and loving ultimately. The power of writing and expressing one’s creativity was also discussed. Thereafter, the writing aides were giving courtesy of Mary Elebijo’s Blog for the expression of creativity….
